Become a simulation expert at any time and from any location
Simcon now has an interactive Online Academy to provide training in its injection molding simulation software, thus saving users both time and costs. And, in addition, Cadmould Version 12 is being published at the end of 2019, incorporating the three-dimensional presentation of results together with other extended functions.
Würselen. – This will then make the Cadmould injection molding simulation software from Simcon even easier to use. Working together with the e-learning specialists at MulTra GmbH, a new service offering major added value has been developed for users. As of November, they will be able to complete their training sessions online via the Online Academy.
Simcon attached great importance to its customers being able to use this new offering on a flexible and interactive basis. MulTra has taken charge of the technical implementation of the specifications and has prepared the existing training contents in didactic terms. The now interactive learning modules make it possible to acquire knowledge, consolidate it and test it in an effective self-learning process. A further advantage is the high level of flexibility offered to users. Clear cost savings and optimized learning times are achieved, since users no longer need to be at fixed locations at specific times.
Interested parties can take a look at the interactive training provided by the Online Academy already by Video.
Three-dimensional presentation of results
To satisfy further customer wishes, Simcon will be publishing Version 12 of Cadmould in December 2019. This incorporates new functions and offers more intuitive handling for the development of plastic injection moldings and the molds required to produce them. With this further development, Simcon has taken a considerable step forward in optimizing the possibilities available for simulating injection molding processes.
Using a Hoops interface, 3D PDF reports can also be compiled from the simulation results. The three-dimensional PDFs, which contain rotatable views, can also be used without Cadmould and considerably facilitate cooperation between different departments or companies.
And another new development: Apart from the proven modular structure of its software, Simcon will be offering package solutions tailored to its users in future. Many customer requirements can be fulfilled even more precisely with “Fill-it!”, “Warp-it!”, “Engineer-it!” and “Varimize-it!”.
Presentation at K 2019 in Düsseldorf
Simcon will be presenting Cadmould Version 12 for the first time at the K plastics trade fair in Düsseldorf in mid-October, together with the new online training service.
The company’s joint project with Arburg will similarly be presented – the Filling Wizard. With the aim of closing the transfer gap between product development and production, work is underway on integrating the Cadmould injection molding simulation in the Gestica control system of all-round injection molding machines.
You will find us at K in Hall 11, Stand F21. We look forward to your visit!
