This data set is based on material data provided by the manufacturer.
The comparison of the simulation results obtained with this material data with the manufacturer’s specifications for shrinkage can be found in the above-mentioned “simulation results”.
These values are for guidance only, as the shrinkage depends on many factors (e.B. part geometry, injection location(s), mass and mould surface temperature, free/imparied shrinkage, etc.) and may differ significantly.
The shrinkage results obtained with these material data as well as the manufacturer’s specifications for shrinkage can be found in the data set.
The manufacturer’s recommended shrinkage of the material has been taken from the manufacturer’s technical data sheets, databases, brochures, processing instructions or information from the manufacturer’s website.
In case of a calibrated data set, the manufacturer’s material data were modified by SIMCON to allow a realistic shrinkage prediction. This calibration can have a negative impact on the quality of the warpage result. It is therefore recommended to perform the warpage calculation with the original data set.
The information and recommendations, as well as the results, obtained with this data correspond to our current state of knowledge and are based on the information available to us. The future processing and application conditions are not within SIMCON’s sphere of influence. Therefore, SIMCON cannot assume any warranty or liability, whether expressly or tacitly, for the information or recommendations provided.

In all other respects, the following shall apply to SIMCON’s liability with regard to any data, regardless of which manufacturer provided it:
SIMCON shall be liable without limitation in accordance with the statutory provisions in case of
- (I) intent or gross negligence,
- (II) at least negligent injury to life, limb or health,
- (III) fraudulent conduct,
- (IV) mandatory statutory liability (e.g. under the Product Liability Act) or
- (V) liability for the absence of warranted characteristics.
